Running can be both painful and uncomfortable if you do not have the correct support. Buying a sports bra is like it is for any other kind of bra, although here, support and restraint are even more important due to the exercise. It can take some time to find any appropriate bras for running, especially for those who tend to be busty and therefore need more support.

Support is even more important here than it is anywhere else. You should, of course, always be wearing the right size bra. You can opt to be measured professionally, or you can measure your size, yourself. You might find that the latter is more simple, if you know what to do, but the former is usually more accurate.

You will have a more supportive bra if the size is more accurate. That said, it is possibly still a good idea to try on some different sizes of sports bra, to see what you find more comfortable. During the vigorous exercise, what matters most is that you are comfortable. In some bras, each breast is supported, individually.

This option might be preferable for many women, as there is less opportunity for uncontrolled movement. The silhouette under your clothes should be smooth, remember, no matter what bra you end up choosing. If it is too tight, and you spill over, then your bra is badly fitted. Comfort in itself is also very important.

You should also make sure that you wear something with comfortable material. In hot weather, this will be the case, especially, as you are more likely to sweat, causing some irritation. A good option will be a material that will let your skin breathe. It might, again, be worth trying on a selection of materials, so that you know what you might prefer in hot weather.

There is lining in some bras that prevent too much irritation being caused. Straps affect both comfort and support, and you should find a sports bra that has comfortable, wide straps.

You will probably find that spending a little bit more on a good bra is not at all a bad thing. There are those that cost less, of course, but appropriate bras for running can be found if you appreciate that there might be more quality if you pay a higher price.
